Our versatility allows us to tailor performances to match the tone and scale of your event.

      Kanola Band typically performs as a 7-piece ensemble, featuring a mix of brass, rhythm, and vocals to deliver that authentic New Orleans sound. For smaller venues/budgets or intimate gatherings, we can customize the lineup to fit your space and budget while maintaining the energy and richness of our music. For larger events or outdoor stages, we can expand with additional horns, guitar, banjo, or percussion for an even bigger sound.

      We’re based in Savannah, GA - but our music travels internationally! We regularly perform throughout the Southeast United States and beyond. Our original homebase was West Michigan, so we tour extensively there as well. Travel details and logistics vary, but we’ll work with you to individually coordinate a plan and provide a customized quote for your location.

      Typical performances range from one to three hours, depending on your event needs. We can structure sets and breaks to fit your schedule, ensuring the music flows seamlessly throughout your celebration.

      Absolutely - that’s one of our specialties! Whether it’s a wedding send-off, a corporate kickoff, or a street-style celebration, we can lead a lively second line complete with horns, drums, and that unmistakable New Orleans groove.

      Yes! We love incorporating requests when possible, however, they must be made in advance of the performance to make sure the music is correct. Our repertoire spans traditional New Orleans jazz, brass band favorites, funk, R&B, and popular party hits - all performed with a New Orleans twist. We’ll work with you ahead of time to include special songs or themes.

      Pricing depends on the number of musicians, event duration, travel distance, and technical needs. We’ll provide a detailed quote once we know more about your event - our goal is always to find a fit that works for both your vision and budget.       Our standard performance fee that we quote to you is all inclusive. It includes all of the musicians and musical equipment for the duration We can also provide sound equipment and a professional sound engineer upon request for an additional fee. Meals or hospitality provisions are often part of our performance agreement for longer events.

      Yes! We can bring our own sound system for small to mid-sized events or coordinate with your venue’s production team. If your event requires larger-scale production or outdoor coverage, we can recommend trusted partners to handle full audio and lighting support.

      We recommend booking as early as possible, ideally 6 - 12 months in advance, especially for mardi gras season or peak wedding times. That said, we strive to accommodate events on shorter notice whenever possible.
